Orchid House is a romantic luxury retreat in Poipu, Kauai, offering panoramic ocean views, golden sunrises, and a peaceful setting just a short walk from Poipu, Shipwreck, and Brennecke’s Beaches. This four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home comfortably accommodates up to 10 adults and 2 children, with four private ensuite bedrooms, a cozy children’s reading room, elegant Tommy Bahama-style interiors, and air conditioning throughout. This house is beautiful. It's well-stocked with all that you need -- beach chairs, pool toys, lots of kitchenware. The rooms are luxurious. And, of course, the pool is great and they keep it warm for kids. We gathered our family -- children, grandkids -- 9 of us for a week to celebrate our 50th anniversary and enjoyed every minute. The only minor problem was when the dishwasher malfunctioned but repairs were done quickly and Evan, who manages the property, brought us more than enough paper plates and plastic cups. This was an expenditure that was more than worth it.
